An unforgettable walk where the beauty of the land meets the power of the sea. As you follow the trail along rugged beaches and dramatic rocky coastlines, you will find yourself walking beside the mighty and untamed Southern Ocean. The air does not get any fresher. Nothing but ocean for 4000 km until you reach Antartica. As you walk, take in the sweeping views, listen to the roar of the surf and feel the power of this ancient ocean. This is your front row ticket to the ‘edge of the world’.


MEETING TIME AND LOCATION 

8:55am at Parawa Hall


CAR SHUFFLE

Follow our vehicle to Mount Scrub Road along gravel country roads. (14 km / 25 minutes)

Your vehicle will be parked here ready and waiting for you at the end of your Day Adventure. This allows you to walk at your own pace and free from the constraints of a scheduled pickup time.


TRANSFER

Next, our vehicle will transfer you to the start of your walk which is Waitpinga Beach. (22km / 25 minutes)


BRIEFING 

Before starting your walk, we will discuss the trail, safety equipment, weather conditions and do our best to answer any of your questions.


WALK DETAILS 

- We are aiming to have you on the trail by 10:00am

-This is a 11km walk taking approximately 4 hours (Based on walking 3kmph and not including breaks)

-The approximate finishing time is 4:00pm 

-The Wild South Coast Way is rated Grade 4 by the Australian Walking Track Grading system.
